The Meteor Club migrated to Zoom during the first few weeks of lockdown. The Thursday Zoom meetings are very popular with chat sessions and discos alternating each week, and even some singing and drumming sessions. Meteor members enjoy seeing one another on screen and exchanging news of what they have been doing, and the disco sessions are a real hit with everyone letting the DJ know in advance their music requests. We were delighted to see Father Christmas on Zoom in December! These sessions have attracted over 30 participants and we would like to see more of our Meteor and Mencap members being able to join in.
