The Meteor Club joined 26 other stalls at The Great Big Green Week Fair in Henley on Saturday 24 September. Organized by Greener Henley, the event aimed to raise awareness of climate change and what we can do to tackle climate change and protect nature in the local area.
Many visitors to the fair stopped at the Meteor Club stall which was displaying imaginative Christmas tree decorations made from recycled Christmas cards. The visitors were also attracted by the cakes on the stall! The event raised our profile in the town and almost £200 was raised from the cake sale and donations. Thanks to Marie who organized the stall, and all those who contributed cakes, biscuits and scones, and helped on the day.
